QUEEN’S PARK – The first week of the Ontario Legislature saw Haldimand-Norfolk MPP Bobbi Ann Brady take on a new role in addition to her legislative duties. Brady was appointed to the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs.
“I look forward to taking on this role and being a part of overseeing the province’s finances,” Brady said. “I am also aware of the significant work the committee undertakes ahead of budget preparations.”
The Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs considers and reports to the House its observations, opinions and recommendations on the fiscal and economic policies of the province. Committee members can also report on all matters relating to the mandate, management, organization or operation of the ministries as well as the agencies, boards and commissions reporting to the ministries.
